Sketch+Invision/Adobe XD/Figma | ~2016 to Present
I still remember the sound of my jaw htting the floor when I saw Sketch + InVision + Zeplin being used. A whole universe of possibilities seemed to have opened in front of me. It was around 2016 and all the graphic designers I knew of started to quietly change their LinkedIn byline to UX/UI Designer. Interestingly enough, my first few attempts at using these new tools were for slide decks. Having grown up with a brother who used Adobe software since the 80's, I never really had the patience to learn MS Powerpoint to its full potential. Inspired by the graceful connector lines, I frequently used these as actual workshop aids when brainstorming with user groups.
Following below are a few examples of how I've managed to stay CANVA-illiterate to this day.

Pardon the excessive use of corporate-mandated orange and blue in the following slides.

This 6x1080p display was run from a workstation behind the panels, controlled by wireless peripherals during interactive presentations.

Being able to share interactive prototypes in XD allowed corporate clients to review and comment - much better than MS Powerpoint shared via email

Yes, it was as dreary as it looked. The white walls didn't help.
